That is exactly why Dr. Maghen welcomes expectant families for a complimentary prenatal visit before your baby arrives. Come with your list, your worries, your birth plan, and your whole village. Mom, dad, partners, grandparents, whoever makes up your team. Dr. Maghen will sit with you, unhurried and without an agenda, to get to know your family before your baby takes their first breath.
By the time you leave, you will not just have a pediatrician. You will have a partner who already knows you.

Dr. Maghen is on staff at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and will visit you and your newborn following delivery, guiding your family through those first precious and sometimes overwhelming days before you go home.
Anytime during your third trimester works well. We recommend between 32 and 36 weeks so there is plenty of time to get acquainted before your due date. That said, earlier is always welcome. The sooner we meet, the more prepared everyone feels.

Absolutely. Bring your whole village. The more the merrier.
Come in. No pressure, no obligation. If Dr. Maghen feels like the right fit after you meet, wonderful. If not, we will wish you all the best.
Dr. Maghen will visit you and your newborn at Cedars-Sinai after delivery. Your baby's first office visit is typically within 2 to 5 days of discharge. Dr. Maghen will confirm the timing before you leave the hospital.
