Dr. Maghen is on staff at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and will visit you and your newborn after delivery, guiding your family through those first precious and sometimes overwhelming days.
As a Los Angeles native, Dr. Maghen is excited to serve his hometown after training at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island and the Technion Israel Institute of Medicine. previous experience working with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and in private practice led him to build something more: Maghen Pediatrics.
Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Maghen approaches every visit as a conversation — unhurried, attentive, and always centered on your child. As a new father himself, he understands firsthand the joy, sleepless nights, and unconditional love that comes with raising a child.

Absolutely. We reserve appointments every day specifically for sick and urgent visits. Call us directly or book online so we can prioritize your child's care right away, no urgent care waiting rooms needed.
We are in-network with most major PPO plans, including Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. We also offer self-pay and sliding scale options, we will never turn a family away for inability to pay. Give us a call if you have questions about your specific plan.
Call us. Dr. Maghen makes himself personally available for emergencies and urgent concerns outside of regular office hours. For non-emergencies, please reach out the next business day. In the case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
